Regarding TA20 traffic function, please read the following section,

This cable has a traffic antenna, but it requires an internal built-in traffic receiver to function and receive traffic information.


To check if your Garmin model has a built-in traffic receiver, navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Device > About.
Look for the line that says "Built-in traffic receiver?"
If your model displays "Yes," you can use this charger to receive over-the-air traffic information.
If your model shows "No," you will need an external add-on receiver power cord such as GTM36 or GTM60 to enable the traffic function.
